The Technology and Development Centre (TEZ) at the headquarters of Groz-Beckert KG in Albstadt-Ebingen is now opened. Laboratories, training and education center, offices for developers and seminar rooms as well as a machine park for all important textile production processes are concentrated on more than 20,000 square meters. Since middle of 2009, decisive signals for the worldwide acting company are proceeded from the more than 60 million euro worth, architecturally remarkable building.
The equipment, amongst others an auditorium with approximately 300 seats, shall also offer an attractive environment for companies, institutes, universities and the local community.
Centerpiece of the think tank will be the spacious research department equipped with state-of-the-art textile machinery.
With the TEZ, Groz-Beckert will intensify the partnership with companies, institutes and universities and develop new, innovative products.
By the way, the TEZ is the biggest building project in the company history and may also be understood as a declared belief in the location Albstadt.
